Teresa Frederick is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse

Practitioner, who is trained in treating individuals across the lifespan. She

received her undergraduate nursing degree in 2001 and has spent her nursing

career in variety of settings from the hospital, to outpatient clinics, and academia.

In 2018, Teresa received a Master of Science in Nursing: Nurse Educator and

began teaching as an adjunct nursing professor. She believes that healthcare is

not one-size fits all and that individualized treatment plans help foster the best

patient outcomes. Through education people are able to make informed choices

which allow them decide which treatment options are best for them.

In choosing Teresa as your provider, the primary focus will be on

medication management and finding the best treatment to help alleviate your

symptoms. However, if medication is not the right choice, or perhaps you are not

ready to take that step, other cognitive and behavioral interventions will be

discussed to help you identify and cope with your specific challenges.

 

Colleagues of Teresa have expressed how she is an excellent listener who

has a positive attitude and warm demeanor. Her patients and students

appreciate the time she takes with explanations and continually feel like a valued

part of the decision making process. Teresa’s goal will always be to ensure your

voice is heard and make collaborative choices for the best possible outcome.
