Matthew Payne is a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who is trained in treating individuals across the lifespan. He received his undergraduate degree in Nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2015. He then worked as a psychiatric nurse in the inpatient setting for the next 5 years treating patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, personality disorders and schizophrenia. In 2020 he earned his Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Regis College. He has been working as a APRN since that time in the outpatient setting.

Treatment will primarily consist of medication management, however, Matthew is committed to providing integrative care, focusing on the “whole person” by examining the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of each individual. To this end, there are many behavioral modification techniques and interventions that will be discussed in addition to medications. Each person is treated as an individual with unique, personalized needs. Care is evidenced-based and done so with a model of shared decision making and collaboration where you will be actively involved in your treatment and encouraged to ask any questions or express concerns. Past and present patients have expressed feeling heard, understood and valued.
